One address for questions and security reports, where the status page and the legal documents are, and what to expect back.

## Questions

Write to hello@keepitlocal.app with anything about the product, a plan, an invoice, a data request or a document that did not come out the way you expected. One address, read by the people who build the product. We reply to every message.

## Security reports

Found something that looks like a security problem? Send what you found and how to reproduce it to the same address, hello@keepitlocal.app. We acknowledge a security report within two working days, tell you what we are doing about it, and credit you if you want it. The same address and the policy it points at are published in the standard place for security contacts.

## Is something down?

Before you write, check the status page. Each part of the service checks itself as the page loads and says whether it is working, so an outage shows there before it reaches an inbox.

## The legal documents

The privacy notice, the terms of service, the data processing agreement and the list of sub-processors are all public pages, linked from the footer of every page. A signable copy of the data processing agreement is available from the same address.

## Do not send us a document

The product works by never receiving your files, and the inbox is no exception. If a file did not redact the way you expected, describe what happened, which format it was and roughly how many pages, and leave the file where it is.
